Some research on overcoming infrastructure and institutional constraints in Indonesia
This is a paper I co-authored with Michelle Limenta and Sianti Candra as I was serving as the Director of the Center for International Trade and Investment at University Pelita Harapan in Jakarta Indonesia.
We come to the rather sobering conclusion that many of the constraints Indonesia currently faces in integrating more effectively into regional and global supply chains are largely of their own making and that bold policy reforms are needed in order to overcome these constraints.
